“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.”
Psalm 46:1-3
Ms.Evelyn,
ReplyDeleteAs a survivor of more than 17 surgeries, I hold this scripture very dear to my heart. Recently as I was on Facebook (which is very rare), a classmate from high school reached out to me.Long story short (and having not spoken since 1992),I found myself helping her and her 6 month old baby escape from her fiance. The day before,he had thrown her into a wall as she was holding their child.
I know first hand of the mighty works, and awesome wonders of the GREAT GOD that we serve. I also know that most of what we go through on a personal level is a testing ground for us to witness and be utilized as guides to deter others from experiencing pain in the same manner.
I am delighted to see that you are using your platform to unselfishly share your gifts of compassion, kindness, and mothering with others. I wish you and your family all the peace, love, joy,and success you can possibly stand!
Yours in Christ,
K.Caldwell
So much for any one trying to deny the essence of God's glory, once they have really sought it and found it. Seeking it and really having it define itself out for one, as God does so reveal at his time. Anyway, I could pretend to not know who you are type of thing; for with the elect of position that God offered to you and your daughters (lesser extent your son) for having their own TV show and with their careers elsewhere in the media spotlight at a level to reach so many people. It is real unique for how there they actually do give glory to God, in an industry that usually has people in the real quiet about their faith. Like I don't know how many times that I have heard Toni give God glory on stage and in front of the TV, Tamar also, and the rest Trina, Traci, Towanda wear proudly their faith in Jesus Christ. Exhorting Christian values across as Lord knows that so many of the people in music industry are lost, doing their infer amount of Satanic symbolization on stage and in their music videos. Like lady Ga-Ga, and Madonna, and Rhianna; and the males are as bad for never first giving glory to God for by their simple waywardness of their being, as they mock God on stage in their simple way. It would be scary to see what they actually think of God in private. I appreciate that your family is all out in the open with your beliefs. Cause most the music industry for what gets mostly promoted now is a lot of Satanic ritualism going on with the artists like Madonna and with the other women here I named, and with men like Jay Z, Eminem; just actual music has gone by the way side, no one that plays an instrument is really hyped anymore. Not many bands. The creativity has gone by the way to basically idol worship that gives way to a "so, so" mediocre range of type talented people. I am 44 years old. And really have come to appreciate the loveliness of having a real Christian family like yours on the TV. Seeing all of them and yourself and your ex-husband and what other of your family and their friends and what. My favorite being Traci, as I relate to her place. But Toni is my crush for how she so much just brings everyone into her shows and is so humble but in the show business heart, but still so common like, and beautiful. As they all are really. I appreciate your sensibility, for the small bit of what I see of your life on TV and what also. Hopefully you and I will meet someday as I am getting into the ministry myself here also. I actually love the set up of your blog page. Hopefully if I look around enough I can see and find where you preach at and when, whether in person or just on you tube or off your website. Here I would love to hear you preach. Keep on, keeping on Pastor Evelyn. And God Bless you and thanks (though you have given up on posting scripture here for quite a while) for the word for the day.
